I would have to say my most successful writing project has been the introduction and use of GlogsterEdu in my mythology and Language Arts 12 classes.
ReplyDeleteMy students are being very creative and seem to actually enjoy the writing, particularly the seniors. I made the mini-essays 100 words so they would fit in the text boxes easier but many have asked to write more. It's been great watching them be so creative.
Thanks, Susan. I'm working on a project in my WGS class where I am asking students to make connections between the gender issues we are studying in class (specifically with Family, Popular Culture, Sexuality, Work, and Global Perspectives) and how they see those issues dealt with in the media (news, internet, film, music, etc.).
ReplyDeleteThe end project is a collection of material & written analysis that can be put into a portfolio and/or power point and shared with the entire class.
I hope they can write their ways into new discoveries and connections! We'll see!
